Golden Bay is one of the most popular beaches in Malta. Malta locals and holiday makers alike flock to Golden Bay to enjoy sand, sea and fresh air during the summer months. Situated on the edge of untouched countryside and tended by the waters of the Mediterranean, Golden Bay is the second-largest sandy beach in Malta.
Golden Bay is the northernmost of three beautiful, sandy beaches on the North West coast of the island of Malta, at the bottom of steep cliffs (The other two being Ghajn Tuffieha Bay and Gnejna Bay).
There are 2 good restaurants on the beach and you can try your hand at water sports here including parasailing, if you are feeling adventurous. It is a popular spot with tourists and the Maltese islanders and deservedly so.
